The VBD-CH-S5 Low Profile LED Aluminum Channel is a lighting accessory that is made of anodized aluminum and comes in three different lengths: 2 meters (78.7 inches), 2.4 meters (94.4 inches), and 3 meters (118 inches). Its color is silver grey, and it has a polycarbonate (PC) diffuser material that can be a PC white frosted cover, PC clear cover (sold separately), or PC black cover (sold separately).
This lighting accessory is designed to be compatible with LED strip widths of up to 12mm and comes with end caps (1 pair) as accessories. The installation can be surface mount or recessed, and it is applicable for various indoor and outdoor projects such as cabinets, shelves, closets, ceiling, shower doors, windows, accent lighting, showcases in stores, etc.
The VBD-CH-S5 Low Profile Aluminum Channels act as a heat sink for the LED strip installed in it, increasing the lifetime of the LEDs. The diffuser material PC helps reduce light glare, protects the LEDs from dust, and avoids any kind of damage. Additionally, the aluminum material is corrosion-free and can be used even for outdoor purposes with waterproof strip lights (IP 66 and higher rating).
