Q: Where are you located?
A: Our head office is in Vancouver, BC. We have been supplying wholesalers here in British Columbia for the past 12 years. In 2019, we decided to expand supplying all over Canada and US.
Q: Do you have a catalog, and can I get one?
A: Yes, just contact us via email with your contact information and we will send you a PDF version or mail one out if preferred.
Q: How do I find out which Driver is best for my need?
A: First, you need to determine the voltage your lights require. For example, 12 or 24 Volts. Then, calculate the total Wattage that you will need to load on the Driver.
Q: How much can I load on the Drivers?
A: We do not recommend loading the Drivers more than 80% because usually some amperage is lost due to long wiring.
Q: For the 60-Watt driver what is the recommended load range? Can we go all the way to 60W? And low end?
A: Our 60w dimmable led driver has no minimum load limitation, so the load range could be 1w to 60w. However, in order to extend their life and be qualified for the 5-year warranty, we do suggest that the ideal load range of the led driver would be 80% led light.
Q: Can Veroboard Drivers be used outdoors?
A: Each of our Veroboard constant voltage LED drivers have different waterproof ratings. Be sure to check the specifications for each unit before installing it. The drivers are perfect for paralleled LED arrays, such as outdoor fixtures, channel lighting, and sign applications where conditions are unpredictable.
Q: Can I use a dimmer for my Veroboard Drivers?
A: We carry dimmable and non-dimmable drivers. The dimmable drivers are also compatible with Forward phase, Magnetic low voltage, ELV, and Triac dimmers.
Q: Is 24VDC brighter than 12VDC?
A: No. The wattage and efficiency of the LED determines the LED Brightness. We use Efficiency LED watt per lumens ratio.
Q: My Driver is not working properly. What do I do?
A: Review the Installation Guidelines for each of the components in our Resources section in our website. The solution may be a simple adjustment as outlined in these guidelines. If after troubleshooting, you are still experiencing an issue, please email us at email@example.com
